We had a great time at the 2x dog shows in Ljungskile, Sweden.
At the Ljungskile Nordic show our Olrif Zone of Pure Love (Kira) was BOB with CAC and Nordic-CAC, and finished the day by placing 3rd in Group 4/6. Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact was BOS with CAC and Nordic-CAC, which made him up as a Swedish champion!! A total of 19 Dalmatians were entered and judge was breed specialist Åke Cronander.
At the Ljungskile International show Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact was 2nd best male with res-CACIB, and Olrif Zone of Pure Love was 2nd best bitch with res-CAC and res-CACIB (that will be full CACIB). Ch Dalspots Hot Gossip won the bitch champion class and placed 3rd best bitch. A total of 24 Dalmatians were entered and judge was Benny Blidh von Schedvin.
News 2021
31 December
This year was also dominated by the pandemic, but the show scene in Scandinavia opened up in the summer and in the end we had a really great year.
Spotdog's Instant Impact closed 5 champion titles this year plus the C.I.B. (pendning confirmation from FCI), and gained 3 new winner titles. In Denmark he was No 3 Dalmatian, and 2nd DKK breed winner 2021.
There was only 1 Swedish Club show this year and Ch Orion's Belt Claim to Fame was BOB while Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact was BOS. Their father Ch Dalspots Coach Master was shown in veteran class for the first time, and was 4th best male and BOS-veteran.

- Spotdogs Instant Impact was 4th best male with res-CAC and completed DKJUCh title at Vejen Nordic show, Denmark.
- Dalspots Hot Gossip was BOS with CAC at the Danish Club Show in Sörbymagle. New Swedish and Danish champion

28-29 December
Travelled to Budapest for the Budapest Grand Prix Show and FCI European dog show 2021.
28 Dec: Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact was 2nd in champion class and received res-CAC and res-CACIB. His son Puntinato Ballante Tic Tac Terror won BOB from the junior class, and later Best in group 1. There were 56 Dalmatians entered for the judge Kardos Vilmos.
29 Dec: Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact was 4th in champion class. His son Puntinato Ballante Tic Tac Terror was EuJW-21, HunJCh and again won BOB from the junior class. He was 2nd in Group 6 junior finals. There were 109 Dalmatians entered for the judges Mile Aleksoski and Csigai Gabriella.

18-19 December
Attended the two winner shows in Finland this weekend.
At Helsinki Winner show 2021, Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact won a big champion class with 13 entries, and ended up as 2nd best male with res-CAC and res-Nordic CAC. Ch Dalspots Hot Gossip placed 4th with CK in a strong champion class bitches with 20 entries. A total of 90 dalmatians were entered and judge was Hans Almgren. Dalmatians had the 3rd largest breed entry on this show.
At Finnish Winner show 2021, Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact placed 3rd in the same strong champion class, and ended up as 4th best male with the CAC to become a Finnish champion on the day! Ch Dalspots Hot gossip placed 3rd with CK in champion bitches, with 16 entries. Judge was Jetta Tschokkinen, and 77 dalmatians entered.
12-14 November
We had a great trip to Herning in Denmark for the Winter Wonder Shows 2021. Foppa got placed all 3 days and Maya was placed once and got CQ at the other two shows. Great results at such competetive shows!!
Day 1 at Herning IDS
Ch Spotdog´s Instant Impact was 2nd best male with res-CACIB and Ch Orion's Belt Claim to Fame was 3rd in champion class with CQ. Judge was Lajos Holovitz from Hungary, and 47 dalmatians were entered.
Day 2 at Herning Nordic Show
Ch Spotdog´s Instant Impact was BOS with Nordic-CAC and NORDV-2021. Ch Orion's Belt Claim to Fame was 2nd best bitch with res-Nordic CAC. CH Dalspots Hot Gossip was 3rd best bitch. Judge was breed specialist Charlotte Jenvall and 41 dalmatians were entered.
Day 3 at Herning IDS
Ch Spotdog´s Instant Impact was 4th best male with res-CACIB and Ch Orion's Belt Claim to Fame was 6th with CQ in a large champion class. Judge was John Finnich Pedersen and 43 dalmatians entered.
16 October
A successful day-trip to Rostock in Germany! Ch Spotdog´s Instant Impact was BOB with CACIB and Sieger Rostock 2021 at Rostock IDS. This qualified him for C.I.B. Judge was breeder-judge Jurgen Rotsch, D. A total of 47 Dalmatians were entered and BOS was Famous Fairy vom Schwarzen Berg. I also had the pleasure to show Orion's Belt Falling Star in intermediate bitch, which she won with 2x CAC's. She is a grand-daugther of our boy Rocco and Maya's niece, so all family! 1 October
We had a great trip to Brno, Czech Republic to attend both Brno IDS and FCI World Dog Show 2021. Ch Spotdog´s Instant Impact won the open class with CAC and was 2nd best male with R-CACIB at IDS, which will be a full CACIB. Judge was Malgorzata Wieremiejczyk-Wierzchowska, PL. At the WW-21 he won the open class again with CAC, which made him a Czech champion! Judge was Iva Cernohubova, CZ. JunCh Olrif Zone of Pure Love placed 3rd in open bitch both days. Today we had a great day at Ballerup IDS/ Copenhagen winner 2021. Ch Spotdog's Instant Impact was BOS with CACIB and a new title KBHV-21. JunCh Olrif Zone of Pure Love placed 4th in best bitch. Judge was Gunnar Nyman. Photos Amanda Sjöland.

The J-litter puppies are finally 4 months old today, and attended their first show at the Danish Dalmatian Club show in Karlslunde. Dalspots Java Bean was BOB-baby and Dalspots Jazz Master was BOS-baby. Very happy with their positive attitude towards everything today! Judge was breed specialist Annette Vieler, DK. The man himself - Ch Dalspots Coach Master was shown as veteran for the first time, and was BOS-veteran and 4th best male.
Dalspots High Five placed 2nd with CK in open male, Dalspots Inside Story placed 3rd in open male, Dalspots Glory Days placed 4th in open bitch, and Dalspots In Harmony got excellent and was selected in open bitch (the largest class of the day with 12 entries) but in the end was not placed. Well done to our puppy-buyers! A total of 59 Dalmatians entered and judge was breed-specialist Bengt-Åke Bogren.

He did it again, BOB at an online dog show!!!
Spotdog's Instant Impact was BOB at the "3rd Virtual dog show by DDF" (151 entries from 14 countries) and got a wonderful report from the judge Donna Whincup (kennel Tamilanda, UK): "Wow What a boy, jet black evenly spotted dog. Balanced all through. Head of good proportions. Dark eye, ears broken, well set framing his masculine head. Neck of good length flowing in to correct front assembly. Elbows tight to his chest. Brisket deep, well ribbed back. Strong loin which holds his topline firm. Well angulated rear with good muscle definition. He comes alive on the move with his powerful effortless movement, tail straight off his back. I could watch him all day."
Our Olrif Zone of Pure Love won the open bitch class with 28 entries, and Ch Orion's Belt Claim of Fame and her daugther Ch Dalspots Hot Gossip placed 2nd and 3rd in champion bitches with 11 entries.
Our mini baby puppies from the J-litter did really well at only 10 weeks of age, happy that I made the effort to make videos of their movement! Dalspots Jazz Master won male mini baby puppy with 4 entries and ended up BOB-mini, also with a lovely report from the judge: "Heavy spotted black boy with solid ears. Love the make and shape of this boy. He really comes alive on the move. Striding out well in front and driving from behind. Every thing in the right place at the moment."
His sister Dalspots Java Bean won the bitch mini baby puppy with 7 entries, also with a lovely report from the judge Karen Clayton (kennel Dalmanor, NZ): "Lovely liver baby with heavier markings. Lovely head with beautiful arched neck into good shoulder. Good bone with lovely topline. Good tail set and carriage. good hind, very good movement. Excellent."
31 July
Today we finished yet another champion!!!
Spotdog's Instant Impact was BOB and Group-1 with NCAC + CAC at Brörup Nordic show in Denmark today. This made him a Danish champion, and also a Norwegian champion!! Judge was Rony Doedijns from Holland and 30 dalmatiens entered. The weather was absolutely awful, with thunder and torrential rain at the end of the breed judging. To be able to finish the judging we had to move indoors for best bitch and BOB. BOS was the finnish bitch Ch Aboensis Natures Art to Forrest. 18 July
Finally a dog show in Sweden again!! Me and my friends Cecilia and Amanda went to the Nordic dog show in Västerås with a total of 6 dogs, 2 males and 4 bitches. A total of 29 Dalmatians were entered for Maritha Östlund-Holmsten. All our 6 dogs got CK and both males were placed in best male, and 2 of the bitch were placed in best bitch. JunCh Spotdog's Instant Impact placed 3rd best male with the reserve-CAC, and Amanda's Spotdog's Half Half placed 2nd best bitch with the CAC and became Swedish champion. JunCh Olrif Zone of Pure Love placed 2nd in the open class (9 entries) and got CK.
18-20 June
Attended the triple shows in Vejen, Denmark.
Day 1 Nordic show: Spotdog's Instant Impact won open class with CQ, and placed 4th best male with res-CAC. This completed his Danish junior champion title (DKJUCh). Judge was Birte Scheel.
Day 2 International show: Dalspots I Am Gold placed 3rd best bitch with res-CAC and res-CACIB. Judge was Bengt-Åke Bogren.
Day 3 International show: Spotdog's Instant Impact was BOS with CAC + CACIB + Crufts qualification. Dalspots I Am Gold was 4th best bitch. Judge was Annette Bystrup.
5 June
Today we got a new champion at kennel Dalspots!!
DKJUCh Dalspots Hot Gossip (Gossip) was BOS with CAC at the Danish Club show in Sörbymagle, Denmark today. Judge was Helle Dan and 38 Dalmatians entered. This made her a Swedish and Danish champion (subject to conformation).
Spotdog's Instant Impact got exc and placed 2nd in open, Dalspots I Am Gold placed 2nd in intermediate with exc + CK, and Olrif Zone of Pure Love placed 4th in open with exc + CK.
30 Maj
Again we attended an online dog show, this time the "Belgian Virtual Dog Show" arranged by the Belgian Dalmatian Club. Judges were breed specialists Liliane De Ridder (kennel Irdallys) and Annemiek Morgans (kennel Gwynmor). A total of 213 Dalmatians were entered (one standing picture and 1 video per dog), and JunCh Dalspots Hot Gossip was BOS!!!
Spotdog's Instant Impact won the male open class (31 entries).
Ch Dalspots Coach Master placed 2nd in male veteran (4 entries).
Dalspots I Am Gold won bitch intermediate class (11 entries) and ended as BOB-intermediate.
JunCh Dalspots Hot Gossip won bitch open class (35 entries) and was BOB-open and in the end BOS.
JunCh Olrif Zone of Pure Love placed 4th in bitch open class (35 entries).
Ch Orion's Belt Claim to Fame won the bitch champion class (14 entries).

Finally we are expecting puppies from our beautiful Maya, after a disappointing last year with failed insemination. This time we went with a natural mating to increase our chances. The pedigree combines these two lovely males, the grandfathers Mr Darcy and our own Rocco, seen here placing as No. 1 and No. 2 best male at the European Dog show 2015 in Lilleström, Norway. The entry was 101 Dalmatians and the judge was highly respected Mr Frank Kane, who needs no further presentation... Mr Darcy is the CC breed record holder in the UK and ended this day with BOB and BOG-2. Our Rocco was a Norwegian champion on the day and Top Male in Sweden 2014.
