Sad news reached us today, Pumbaa's breeder Chris Dyker of Labyrinth Dalmatians passed away the 25th of October after a year of ill health. We are for ever greatful to her that she allowed us to have Pumbaa (or Thumper, as she called him) and bring him all the way to Sweden. I had a look through pictures on the computer and found some of Labyrinth dogs. But first below is a picture of a young Chris with Ch Labyrinth Tuckaway Julep followed by a picture of "Darling Pumbaa". We would never had met Chris, and Pumbaa would never had been ours, if it wasn't for Carol Schubert. She introduced us to Chris, and Beth White introduced us to Carol... Now both Chris and Pumbaa are gone. Read Chris' obituary here, sorry for the poor text-quality.

Our new puppy Lacillas Electra "Ellie", is a Texas-daugther (and Pumbaa-granddaugther) from Cecilia Ströms E-litter born end of July 2009. She will be living with Marcus and Marie Louice in Växjö and we wish them good luck. We're looking forward to see her grow up. Photos-Lena

At Sofiero today, Texas won the certificate and placed 3rd best male. Judge was breed-specialist Paula Rekiranta from Finland. Sister Toya (Dalspots Almost-Harmony) also came along for her first official show. Due to her carrying (way) to much weight a the moment, the judge decided to give her a 2nd in quality in open class accompanied by a nice report. So lesson learned for her owners, Toya needs to loose weight. BOB Ch Jilloc's Sugerdaddy, male CAC to Dalspots American-Idol, BOS Ch Jilloc's Splendid Choice, bitch CAC + champion to DK Ch Frihedens Prinsesse Phregne. Below are photos of Toya (photo Lena) and Texas (photo Helle Höie).

Today we visited Cecilia Ström (Lacillas kennel, e-mail: loffans@hotmail.com ) and had a look at Texas and Pepsi's puppies that are now 6 weeks old. Both our boys, Jacob and David came with us and enjoyed cuddling puppies for some hours. Stacked pictures of each of the puppies can be seen under "Texas offspring". Photos Lena.

Today we met Texas sister Toya (Dalspots Almost-Harmony) and her family for a nice walk in the forest. Gabriella and Torgny were showing us our future surroundings and where to find nice walks for both kids and dogs. The kids were enjoying the forest and the barbeque afterwards. We also took the opportunity to take some pictures of lovely Toya. Photos: Lena

We got some good news today, the hip results came back normal for our boy Texas: Dalspots American-Idol has HD-B. It is always nervous to wait for the results to get back... Good boy Texas!
We also want to share with you a picture of our future house. Now when the roof is coming on, it starts to look like something you actually could live in!! Hopefully it will be ready for us to move in beginning of summer. We are looking forward to it!!

Wishing you all a HAPPY 2009!!
Below you can see some pictures from our Christmas holidays where Texas is seen playing with his mum Tilda. Tilda is fast and agile, while Texas is very much a clumpsy teenager... but they both enjoy the play.
